Pre Holiday Jewelry Show

It's time for another show. Oct. 17th from noon till 8:00 pm. I was going to wait till December, but I had lots of requests for a show asap. I am one to please my clients, so here we are. For everyone in the local area check your Face Book request tab & click on event invitation. There you will find your invitation to the show. Please do RSVP so I have enough food & drink. It should be yet another great time.
I had a special request for a bracelet that took me about 4 weeks to perfect. I now have a new obsession; bracelet making..... Check them out on my website or my fan page on FB.
Thanks again for every one's continuing support in my artist endeavors. I feel I will never bore with my artwork. I still love creating jewelry from clay. Thanks again, Shannon :)

Midsummer Jewelry Show Success

Thanks to everyone who came out to that last show. I really have enjoyed doing my shows from a house or small business place. It seems like I can spend more time with my clients, and they also have time and space to look around and feel comfortable. The wine spritzers and finger foods also help too.
The date for the next show is still undetermined at this time. I will post the date in a week or two. I like having them on Saturdays when people can come and go as their lives permit them to.
If anyone in the metro Atlanta area is interested in hosting a show from their residence just let me know well in advance and we will work out the details for your compensation.
Let us not forget in these times of economic crisis that a one of a kind handcrafted gift says more to the recipient than a run of the mill gift from the mall or mega mart. The recipient will also have the assurance that no one else will have one just like theirs. Happy shopping!!!

See you at the next show! Thanks again everyone, Shannon:)

Gallery New York..Artslant.com

Well everyone I am now in a Gallery out of New York called Artslant.com/ When you go to their site just type my name in and there I am for the whole world to see. If I'm not mistaken I am the only polymer clay artist on there, and that's huge for me.
I have been so busy trying to set up shows and turn my website into an E-commerce website, I have no time for much else. A girls gotta eat though.
For all my followers here and on Facebook, thank you so much for your ongoing support and positive feedback. I thought about doing a little more Etsy, but they are getting too big to keep me supported. If you ever see anything that you like just hit me up in an email and see if that piece has been sold, if it has not we will work out how to get it to you.
Don't forget for my locals the next show will be on August 1st. All day long. If you need an invitation and your not on Facebook shoot me out your address and I'll get you one in the mail. Thanks, Shannon...

Well the show was a success.  Thanks to everyone who came to support me and my art. I hope you all enjoy your pieces and wear them well. I think until this financial crisis is over, I will remain to do my shows locally. If anyone is interested in hosting a jewelry show (party) from their house let me know. We can work out your compensation. If anyone else needs to be put on my mailing list shoot me out an email and I will put you in my database. This blog is a new thing for me, but I hope I can look back and learn something from it. I have always liked to keep a journal and this is s great way to do it.  Thanks Shelby!!!

Welcome to Shannon Stallard Jewelry&Artistry

I am focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction - I will do everything I can to meet your expectations. If you have any special requests, please let me know and I will try my best to satisfy your wishes.

About Me - -
I am a self taught artist, who after many years in the corporate world decided to take a break and give my art dream a chance. I have always been around art and artistic people. My mother and my grandmother were big influences in my journey within the art world. I can remember my grandmother sewing, crocheting and making wonderful things with fabric. My mother is a great painter, pen and ink, pencil and mixed media artist. My skills are varied and include, painting, sculpting, drawing, sewing, and mixed media, and of course jewelry design. My jewelry skills include polymer clay, pmc, leathertooling, metal smithing, silk knotting, and mixed media design. I love color and texture of all kinds. I'm not the type to use something for its' intended purpose. I don't see things for what they are, I see them for what they can become. Needless to say ready made is not for me. I hope you enjoy your experience with my art creations, and wear it well.

Thank you for your interest in my artwork. Please feel free to contact me at my personal e-mail, stallard.shannon@yahoo.com, or browse my homepage, shannonstallard.com. For any purchases, please visit my online store at etsy.com.

Upcoming Events - -
Jewelry Show - May 9th, from 12:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. I have recently made some pieces of jewelry using vintage postage stamps, they really are amazing. If you need an invitation with more details, please contact me. I hope to see everyone there!
